it’s not a joke at all but if it’s any comfort homicidal moomin is mostly a comic-only thing and he doesn’t succeed most of the time

Yes, strikes are inconvenient, that is the point everyone, please, understand that no civil disobedience is going to be convenient for you. They’re literally meant to be a protracted inconvenience/form of economic warfare against the rich.
Strikes are for saying: “This is what it would be like without us.”
If that strike inconveniences you? That means those striking workers are fucking valuable.
Take the short-term inconvenience and support them in their demands, because if they’re important enough that a picket line troubles you, they’re important enough to command wages they find fair.
That message is primarily directed towards their employers, who like to treat them as valuable enough to need but not valuable enough to pay well, but it also applies to those customers and consumers who depend on their work.
