Which is part of why I don’t know what to do. @russdom sent me a meme of the new $6000 Mac Pro next to a homebuilt (?) tower with the same specs that cost $1000. And?? Apple is evil. Caveat Emptor, I don’t know what to do with this information.

Fam. Go get you an Android phone and a Windows computer. They’re cheaper, you can get them in any configuration you want. If you want specs close to what you had with Apple, you can find that – for a little cheaper (and in the case of laptops, with a touchscreen). You can find better specs for cheaper. Or you can go budget, since all those bells and whistles aren’t really necessary. Non-apple devices are also ridiculously easier and cheaper to repair.
